JOYCE offers customers an opportunity to learn, explore and immerse themselves in a world of knowledge and beauty. The new JOYCE PAPERS venture presents a source of culture and inspiration in the form of pivotal literary and visual works. Launched in partnership with Kubrick, one of Hong Kong’s longest standing cultural independent bookstores and publisher, the project is a curated selection of art, fashion and cultural media: books, print media, documentaries and feature films.
One for the lovers.
The launch of JOYCE PAPERS coincides with October’s ongoing introduction of The Seven Wonders of JOYCE: a range of extraordinary in-store experiential spaces inspiring visitors to look closer. Inspired by the ancient art of Tarot card reading, each “act of magic” is inspired by a genre of JOYCE designers. The latest of these acts The Lovers, compliments JOYCE PAPER in bringing people together through the power of knowledge and a shared interest in all artforms.
JOYCE PAPERS presents a library of resources that puts these ideas into words. With an impressive offering of collectible books, fashion bibles, photobooks, illustrated novels, and milestone movies, the first installment explores various expressions of love, sensuality, beauty and most importantly, imagination. From back issues of Interview magazine to a sampling of the ancient philosphers and the classic cult favourite films of Pedro Almodovar and Jean-Luc Goddard films, the selection encourages us all to observe and follow the JOYCE mantra: LIVE CURIOUSLY.
Launching on 9th November, JOYCE PAPERS is the start of an ongoing partnership with like-minded creative brands, inaugurated with Hong Kong culture hub Kubrick.
