Indian designer Manish Arora recently visited Hong Kong where he presented his first runway collection for Paco Rabanne at an exclusive trunkshow hosted by JOYCE.
The designer was the first Indian talent to show his eponymous collection at Paris Fashion Week in 2007. His fun attitude, colourful patterns and love of craftsmanship caught the attention of retailers and editors, and he was soon appointed creative director of Paco Rabanne, the once revolutionary brand from the 1960s.
This once dormant label has started to reappear in the fashion headlines thanks to their comeback collection for spring/summer 2012. Fashion icons including Madonna and Lady Gaga have already been spotted wearing the collection.
