  • A must-read for fashion lovers and insiders, i-D magazine stands for innovation and is dedicated to art, fashion, music and culture. Their now infamous “one-eyed wink” cover shots by the likes of Kate Moss and Rihanna have been defining modern culture and steering our tastes for over 30 years. Now fashionistas in Hong Kong and Beijing have the opportunity to take a personalized i-D portrait.

An exclusive i-D photo booth has been set up at JOYCE Central and JOYCE Beijing in conjunction with the launch of the forthcoming Soul i-D exhibition in Beijing. So put your best foot forward, be creative and get “i-D-ed”!

Soul i-D is the brainchild of Tricia Jones, who co-founded i-D magazine with her husband Terry Jones. Launched in 2008, the exhibition includes photographs, essays and collages, and has been displayed worldwide at galleries including Galerie Azzedine Alaia in Paris and Christie’s in London and New York. This October it arrives at the Enjoy Museum in Beijing’s 798 Art Zone and features the work of two new talents: China’s celebrated fashion photographer Chen Man and Hong Kong-based photographer Wing Shya. Stay tuned on for updates!

Get portrait ready at the i-D photo booth in JOYCE Central from 13th to 31st Oct and in Beijing from 24th Oct to 7th Nov.
