JOYCE lands at Shin Kong Place, Beijing

05 Nov 2012

  • Following the success of its first Beijing flagship store in China World Mall, JOYCE proudly announces its second multi-brand store in Shin Kong Place, one of Beijing’s most desired luxury landmark shopping malls. The new shop mirrors the same concept to that of JOYCE shops in Hong Kong Pacific Place and Lee Garden, offering a unique edit of contemporary brands such as Ashish, Damir Doma, Kaal E Suktae, Kolor, Markus Lupfer, Ohne Titel, Pyrenex, Rue Du Mail, Song ZIO, Visvim, Mugler, White Mountaineering, and Yang Du. This 399 square meter fashion mecca caters to the young fashion insiders that are key growing group of JOYCE.

Using glass as main material throughout the interior and offsetting it with white and metallic background colors, the JOYCE Shin Kong shop thoughtfully distinguishes itself from the preceding China World and Plaza 66 locations while still maintaining the general design principle and aesthetic of the JOYCE brand.

To continue its mission of nurturing new artistic talents, the shop incorporates art pieces from Charles Munka, whose inspirations are drawn from film, gaming, pop art and abstract expressionism. His work is a mix of contemporary ideas and illusion imagism of history, thus creating a fresh new style that best expresses the youthful energy of the shop.
