JOYCE BRINGS ALEXANDER WANG TO HONG KONG ISLAND

  • Following on from the success of Alexander Wang’s first boutique in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Joyce is opening a second store within Sogo, Causeway Bay. The new boutique will will bring the New York designer’s much-loved off duty style to Hong Kong Islanders.

    Like the Kowloon boutique, the new store will house women’s ready-to-wear collections, along with accessories, footwear and objects collection. The Alexander Wang Fall/Winter 2014 collection presents a survival guide for the urban landscape, introducing a play on utility, function, the great outdoors, sportswear, texture and graphics. Highlights include: hockey jerseys, parkas, leather skirts, functional multi-pocket handbags and over-the-knee riding boots. All items are made in either ultra techno fabric such as thermo reactive neoprene or super luxe component such as Shearling or Astrakhan. The 815 square foot space boasts a minimalist and clean interior with monochrome accents that will appeal to the urban shopper.

    To celebrate the new store opening, Joyce has teamed up with Alexander Wang for a “TURN IT ON” campaign and created a limited edition LED light wand. Starting from 1st September, customers can redeem this special gift upon any purchase in Sogo store. Also, customers who visit the newly revamped Joyce.com website and subscribe Joyce’s e-newsletter may have a chance to receive this special gift.
