Hong Kong through the eyes of Neil Barrett

The Milan based English designer is a serious globe trotter. During his recent two day foray to Hong Kong, we asked Barrett to take over our Instagram account, capture anything that caught his eye and post accordingly.

His Autumn Winter 2014 collection is founded on dark palettes of walnut and shades of blue mix with pure monochrome. Bonded fabrics, structured tailoring and press-stud fastening make up the details, while the focus is on juxtapositions of textures and fabrications, explorations of textiles and finish .

Therefore it came as no surprise that Barrett singled out a black and white context in which to capture the iconic skyscrapers in a series of photographs named “archi-texture”. Could they be the inspirations for his next collection we wonder?
