Since graduating from Parsons with the Best Menswear Designer Award, New York-based Chinese born Korean designer Ximon Lee has been taking his graduation collection to brand-new places. Being the first American Menswear designer to win the H&M Design Award, Ximon decided to open his own eponymous label XIMONLEE. Ximon's meticulous and highly original work has since made a strong impact within the industry.
Apart from his collaboration with H&M, he was invited to showcase his work in Vfiles Made Fashion during NYFW and at the prestigious LVMH Prize showroom in Paris. Most recently, Ximon has produced a capsule collection for Joyce X Machine-A, which served as the very first XIMONLEE experience for customers worldwide.
Followed by the success of the capsule collection, Ximon has developed his SS16 collection based on his first collection 'Children of Leningradsky'. While paying homage to his childhood spent in a border town between China and Russia, Ximon continues to express his unique point of view through these simplified and reimagined pieces made with thoughtfully treated materials.
