Pascal Mourier makes his office available from the 13th to the 23rd May at the Joyce Gallery in Paris.
Throughout a selection of videos, photos, familiar and memory objects, the installation explores different ways to reach a state of grace, the balance point that allows enjoying our emotions without being overwhelmed, between confinements and parallel worlds.
This exhibition takes part in the charity event « A Fetish for a Wish » in the favour of the Jogo Bonito association.
Writer, film director and producer, Pascal Mourier chose television and its digital and global extensions as a mean of expression. He submits to the constraints of this medium, taking profit from its rigidity to reveal the fashion universe considered as meaningless, sexy, glamour, and a bit scandalous. Thanks to his historical, artistic, political, social and economical thoughts, he managed to broaden fashion horizons. Pascal Mourier also teaches in fashion schools.
Pascal Mourier would like to thank Joyce Gallery, Mediatv Presse, Media Tv, BabDesign, BabStudio, France Media Monde, France 24, le Fashion Lab de Dassault System, l’Atelier Chardon Savard, l’Université de la Mode Lyon II, l’Imprimerie du Marais, Jogo Bonito, Régine Pierrot, Maïwenn Nicolas, Mathilde Landais et Hélène Acker.
