JOYCE PRESENTS A SUMMER COLLABORATION WITH ARTIST DUO DFT AND FRENCH SWIMWEAR BRAND ERES
Les GrandesVacances commencent!
This July, JOYCE brings the joys of French Summertime to Hong Kong. A first-time collaboration between artist duo DFT - also known as Differantly – and premium swimwear brand Eres who bring together a unique immersive art installation with a limited edition range of black and white beachwear and accessories created exclusively by DFT and complemented with colourful swimwear pieces in JOYCE Central store.
Flowing, single-line visual artwork of idyllic sunny, sandy beaches and sea creatures dance across the summery canvas of Eres swimwear and playful accessories. The extended range includes limited edition fisherman’s hats, lounge chairs, playful pool floats, beach bats, waterproof cameras and even a pair of custom made stand-up paddle boards. Contrary to Eres’ usual signature bright block colour ways, this collaborative effort makes a statement in DFT’s monochrome, clean black linear illustrations on a simple white background, all in this season’s flattering bikini and one-piece silhouettes featuring sporty nautical knot and scoubidou detailing.
DFT’s specially created “Les Beaux Jours” (The Beautiful Days) art concept will also be featured throughout July in light boxes in JOYCE stores. The Central store in particular will show a multi-dimensional interpretation of the illustration with the fluid lines on the window pane and a black metal sculptural wave across the store interior.
The collaboration will be launched from 12 July, with the DFT beach accessories all falling within HK$900 – HK$18,000 price range. JOYCE Cabinet will carry the works of DFT throughout the Summer until September in the Central store exhibition area. Customers are invited to own original DFT artworks, created especially for the JOYCE project, with various prints (from HK$3,500) and hand drawn artworks (from HK$20,000).
