Created by Damien Réhel, the “Festival International des Jeunes Createurs de Mode”, has become the reference and unmissable fashion designers’ contest.
For the second edition, Dinan, and his mayor Didier Lechien, reaffirms their commitment with the fashion festival and embrace ethical fashion.
From 7th to 9th April, three exhibitions animates the city of Dinan:
- Un regard sur Yves Saint Laurent (A look at Yves Saint Laurent). In the exhibition, Olivier Châtenet’s collection concentrates on the timeless aspect of the designer’s style, highlighting his exceptional visionary quality who made his reputation.
- Coiffes des bords de Rance focusing on the unique headdress heritage in Haute- Bretagne.
- Mode et accessoires, les créateurs dinannais exposent (fashion and accessories from Dinan designers) dedicated to contemporary craftsmen of Dinan.
During the three days, ten designers present their work to fashion and textile’s actors.
These ten fashion designers, aged from 21 to 28, have created a capsule collection of 7 models divided in two categories: Women’s collection and Men’s collection, under the theme « Save the Planet », with two special prices : UPCYCLINC ECO TLC’s price and the Gavottes ®’s price.
The winners of the competition are:
Women’s prize : Laurence Lallot (France)
Mens pricze: Zhikai Yang (Chine)
Gavotte prize: Laurence Lallot (France)
UPCYCLING ECO TLC prize: Alexis Jodas (France) and Mizukami Seijiro (Japon)
